
Queen of the South was recently renewed by the USA network for its 2nd season and has quickly become one of the more popular shows on TV. Cartel’s and the stories of South American drug trade have been something that the entertainment industry has, most recently, developed into elaborate plots and story lines that make for addicting television that you can’t stop watching. Some may say that its quick popularity is due to the resemblances it has of the Netflix show ‘Narcos’, but plot wise it makes sense. The story is loosely based on Arturo Pérez-Reverte’s “La Reina Del Sur” which drew its inspirations from the ‘queenpins’ that existed in the Mexican cartel. With Season 2 set to premiere in June on USA, the teaser gets us excited for what’s to come:
