Creative Ways To Promote Your Brand At A Festival Or Event

  • May 27, 2019

Festivals are the perfect place to reach out and spread the word about your brand because you have a huge potential audience, all of whom are having a great time. Also, festivals are becoming more and more popular, and are massive business. A happy, receptive audience is an advertisers dream! In this article, I want to talk about different creative ways to get your brand exposure at festivals and events. So, let’s jump in…

Flip-flops

First up, some festival footwear. A great and simple way to get your name out there is with branded flip-flops. They’re inexpensive, easy to transport and give away, and an extra pair of shoes is something that no festival goer will have brought with them. They’re super handy, and ideal in the summer heat. Just make sure you pick the right festival – flip-flops in a muddy moshpit might not go down so well!

Sunglasses

Next, another summer festival essential – sunglasses. They’re cool, they’re essential in the blazing sun and they can even be used to hide your eyes when you are a little worse for wear. Also, they are the kind of accessory that festival-goers will want, but may have forgotten to pack, or lost at some point. This means that when you swoop in with your branded shades, people are going to snap them up and actually wear them.

There’s a huge range of different styles and branding options, just take a look at usimprints to get some ideas and create a personalized pair for extra exposure.

With sunglasses sitting at eye-level, you aren’t just getting brand exposure to the person wearing the sunglasses – everyone around can see them too. It’s a win-win.

Guitar Picks

Moving away from wearables, the next way to get your brand out there in a creative and different way is simple but effective. Make branded guitar picks! You might think that this limits your reach to only guitar players, but that’s not true. The point is that the guitar is cool, and even people who don’t play like to look like they play guitar! You’d be amazed how many people will take something like a guitar pick even though they cannot play a single chord.

Also, this fits in perfectly with a festival vibe because you are giving away tools that people can use to express themselves creatively. It’s definitely a winner and is a great way to introduce branded products that don’t feel overly commercial or like advertising.

Glow Sticks

Finally, what about something that will get your brand some exposure after dark? Well, branded glow sticks are a great way to go. Come nightfall, everyone wants to have some day-glo accessories to dance with. If you can provide these, you’ll be a festival legend and front and center for the party. Branded glow sticks can be highly impactful, after all, they are fluorescent.

The only drawback here is that no-one is likely to keep their glow sticks after they run out of juice, so this is not going to give you long-lasting exposure. Still, to have your name right there in the midst of the dancefloor is pretty great for the brand.

Conclusion

To wrap up, I think it is important to realize that you don’t just need to choose one of these options. If you combine some of these ideas together, you are going to create strong, well-rounded and far-reaching brand exposure at a festival.
