This year marks the beginning of something new, hopefully, something that lasts for many years to come. With the continually growing number of amateur talent in the game of basketball seeking further opportunities at an exponential rate, not every capable athlete gets the opportunity to showcase his talents anymore.
Now, thanks to the inaugural Professional Basketball Combine some of the world’s unheralded stars get the opportunity they rightfully deserve.
The combine, hosted by JK Management at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is giving basketball players looking to play professionally the opportunity to work out and get connected with NBA and D-League personnel that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to get ahold of.
The Professional Basketball Combine, more importantly than anything else, is looking to give exposure to elite basketball players that truly deserve it. Especially right before the NBA Draft.
Confirmed players that are attending the combine include: Antonio Blakeney (LSU), Mangok Mathiang (Louisville), Charles Cooke (Dayton), Gian Clavell (Colorado State), Jeremy Morgan (Northern Iowa), Austin Nichols (Virginia), Jaylen Johnson (Louisville), JJ Frazier (Georgia), Katin Reinhardt (Marquette), Zeek Woodley (Northwestern State), Dallas Moore, (North Florida), Chris Davenport (North Florida), Troy Caupain (Cincinnati), and Tidjan Keita (France).
The combine will take place from May 15th-17th and Def Pen will have coverage of the event. The Professional Basketball Combine will present these young men with opportunities for a lifetime and will hopefully do so for years to come.
