In what we hope turns out to be some sort of wicked dream and false reality, it is being reported that the one and only, Prince, has died today at the age of 57, according to TMZ. Just a week ago, the singer had been hospitalized due to a medical emergency that resulted in his plane making an emergency landing. Feeling better, the legend went on to play scheduled showings.
Prince’s body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning.
The singer — full name Prince Rogers Nelson — had a medical emergency on April 15th that forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Illinois. But he appeared at a concert the next day to assure his fans he was okay. His people told TMZ he was battling the flu.
The report has also been confirmed by his publicist.
