In the almost 8 years that President Obama has found himself calling the White House home, we’ve learned a vast amount of information about the U.S. leader. Everything from basketball to how he spends any down time, in anything, President Obama is just like us in a lot of ways. With 2015 bringing forth a tsunami of new music from Hip-Hop acts left and right, the world, with the President included, had a vast amount of new hard-hitting and passionate music to bask in from some of Hip-Hop’s finest.
Upon the many releases, President Obama has went on record and stated just how much he appreciates Kendrick Lamar’s music, along with his love for Kendrick’s second studio album, To Pimp A Butterfly. Citing ‘How Much A Dollar Cost?’ as his favorite song of 2015, there’s no doubting Kendrick’s place in Mr. Obama’s playlist. In an interview conducted today, the President let his hair down while answering a series of questions and was even questioned on who does he believe would win in a rap battle between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
