Post Malone’s ‘Rockstar’ featuring 21 Savage has been confirmed number one on Billboard’s Streaming Songs and On-Demand Streaming Songs charts for Oct. 7.
Neilsen Music reports that in the week of Sept. 21, the single totaled 44.1 million streams. Only ‘Bodak Yellow’ was streamed more in that span (46.4 million). ‘Rockstar’ landed number one because ‘Bodak Yellow’ has more programmed streams from services like Pandora.
This is major for both artists, especially since stream numbers are the new measuring tools. Light one for these gentlemen.
