
Chicago’s own Polo G has added another line to his resume. His latest album, Hall of Fame, landed atop the charts after Polo G moved 143,000 copies of the project in one week. This is the first time Polo G has climbed to the top of the Billboard 200 Chart in his young career.
Polo G had to outperform a legendary rap group to get to the top of the Billboard 200 Chart. Migos landed at number two with their latest studio album release. Culture III fell 19,000 units short of the top spot with 124,000 units in just one week.
Rounding out the top five, Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour fell to number three with 122,000 units in one week. Lil Durk and Lil Baby’s Voice of the Heroes finished at number four with just shy of 75,000 units in one week At number five, Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous fell from three to five with 50,000 units this week.
Looking ahead, H.E.R will look to top the charts with her debut studio album, Back of my Mind. The 21-track project featured Bryson Tiller, Cordae, Thundercat, Lil’ Baby, Chris Brown and Yung Bleu. It also included the hit single, “Comfortable” and “Slide” with YG.
