After giving us a server update yesterday, Evolution Studios seems to answer the question we’ve all been wondering, where’s the Playstation Plus Edition?! For those that aren’t to sure of the game, the PS+ edition was the deciding factor for most gamers. Most gamers are outraged and Evolution Studios have took some time out to answer the question.
The PS Plus Edition is on hold while this work progresses and we want to get it back on track as quickly as possible, because we want everyone to enjoy the game we’ve poured our hearts into throughout development
Evo Studios also goes on to say
The issues with server performance were never encountered during the past year, in any of the many rounds of testing prior to launch, The servers hit their absolute limit soon after the midnight launch on Oct 7
Knowing that they relied on knowledge from “testing servers” will this turn you away from the PS+ Edition? Knowing that the holiday season is right around the corner and new Ps4 users will be coming, how will this affect DRIVECLUB servers going forward? When the PS+ Edition of DRIVECLUB is available, we’ll be sure to update you.
