You don’t say?
The Knicks offseason has been very eventful. From losing the NBA Draft Lottery after tanking, to Kristaps Porzingis, people hating Kristaps Porzingis, then the guy who drafted Porzingis comparing him to Shawn Bradley, some “Melo Drama,” what a time it is for the Knicks and this “transition period.”
Phil Jackson is making headlines again this week. In an interview with ESPN, the Knicks president said that the team he put together “may struggle early” this season, because, you know, their expectations were already super high.
We have a number of new players, so they may struggle early as they learn how to play with each other,” Jackson said. “Where we end up as the season progresses is an unknown, but we have improved our roster and have a chance to be a good team.”
New York had 17 wins last season so in all honesty, they can’t get any worse than that, can they?
