Since the Denver Nuggets recently fired their head coach Brian Shaw, there has been an uproar in support of Shaw and how he coaches.
Not from the Nuggets fans, front office or players but from his former team.
The Indiana Pacers.
Shaw was an assistant on the Pacers under head coach Frank Vogel and he oversaw the development and progress of players like Lance Stephenson, Roy Hibbert and Paul George.
Shaw made an impact on that Pacers team. Such an impact that he recently was defended by one of his former players in David West.
Now Shaw is garnering support from an injured star in Paul George.
Don't understand how you can't play for B Shaw!

While there was an obvious disconnect between the players in Denver and Shaw, something else behind the scenes was going on.
This coming out from his former players though just speaks to the type of man Shaw is and what he meant to the organization and their players.
The next step for Shaw might not happen for a while after a failed experiment in the Mile High City but the Indiana Pacers may love to take him back.
One place to look out for though, the New York Knicks. Shaw has connections to team president Phil Jackson and head coach, Derek Fisher.
