After signing the main core of their 2017 NBA Finals squad, the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors are now looking to fill out the roster.
Stephen Curry re-signed first for his supermax. Shaun Livingston and David followed suit in signing free agency day one deals. Despite some courting from other teams, Andre Iguodala inked a deal with the Dubs and Kevin Durant took less than the max to re-sign with the Dubs. Next, they want to fill out the bench and Omri Casspi appears to be the man for them.
The three-and-d wingman was traded alongside DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans at the trade deadline but his season ended abruptly due to injury. He recovered quickly from a broken thumb but he never finalized a deal. But now Omri Casspi is going from a career full of disappointing teams to the best team in the league.
Following comes from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post reports Casspi signed for the veteran’s minimum.
Free agent forward Omri Casspi has agreed to a one-year deal with Golden State, league sources tell ESPN.

Omri Casspi signed with the Warriors on a one-year deal for the minimum, per sources. Great fit for GSW who still can use their taxpayer MLE
