LeBron James has been linked to an upcoming project led by Octavia Spencer. During a panel at the Sundance Film Festival, Spencer spoke about James involvement in the negotiations of her upcoming Netflix series commemorating the life of Madam C.J. Walker. Spencer said, “I think my goal is to make sure that all women of color get equal pay, and all women get equal pay. The only way to do it is to have these conversations, to talk numbers with your co-stars.” She later added, “I have to say, when I was negotiating my deal for ‘Madam C.J.,’ LeBron James had to intervene.”
