Update (4/3/19 11:20 AM): Nipsey Hussle’s alleged murderer Eric Holder was captured Tuesday in the Bellflower area by police. TMZ reports that the Los Angeles Police Department picked Holder up from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department station Tuesday and transferred him to a police station in South L.A.
According to law enforcement sources, Holder is currently being held in solitary confinement and will remain there while awaiting trial. His bond has been set at $7,040,000.
Update: TMZ reports, both the alleged shooter and getaway driver involved in the murder of Nipsey Hussle find themselves behind bars. The unnamed woman allegedly turned herself into law enforcement. Eric Holder remains in custody, held without bail. TMZ claims a conversation with the woman over the phone reveals she was unaware of Holder’s violent intentions.
According to CBS Los Angeles, Eric Holder, the 29-year-old named as the suspect in the killing of Nipsey Hussle, has been captured.
Eric Holder was captured in Bellflower of southeast Los Angeles by deputies “sometime before 1:30 p.m.” Los Angeles police have informed the news network they are responding to confirm the suspect’s identity as Holder.
Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michel Moore told reporters earlier during a conference that Holder, a gang member, “approached Hussle and the other men he was with several times Sunday and spoke with them. Holder then returned with a handgun and opened fire.” He gunned down the artist over a personal dispute.
Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in front of his Los Angeles clothing store Sunday. He was 33.
