The Nuggets ended up winning the game by a score of 113-96. More Drama would continue to be the fallout of the game with several Heat players trying to enter the Nuggets locker room after the game. Jimmy Butler, Jokic’s brothers, and Marcus Morris would have plenty to say after the game. The suspension and fine was an expected result for the retaliation and the initial hard foul. Jimmy Butler was also fined $30,000 dollars for trying to escalate the altercation and failing to comply with the NBA’s security interview.

The Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat will match up one more time in the regular season and that game takes place on November 29th. Things will undoubtedly be tense, but the NBA has long put an emphasis on dealing with situations like this in a professional way. Nikola Jokic will serve his one-game suspension against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday Night.
