Nicki Minaj may not have any new music dominating the airwaves, but that doesn’t mean that Hip-Hop’s leading lady isn’t keeping busy and grabbing headlines. Seeing big screen success, one again, due to the release of the latest “Barbershop” film, the success doesn’t stop there as Ms. Minaj found herself being apart of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” this year. Taking to the Time Gala that took place just last night, Nicki Minaj celebrated the honor with other honorees who made the last, along with taking to the stage to perform some of her hits, such as ‘Anaconda.’
On the red carpet side of things, it was only right that Nicki was asked about the most talked about album at the moment, LEMONADE. Working with Queen Bey in the past, Minaj had nothing but kind words for the superstar and made it known that she is proud of the singer and will be sure to convey that to her. Without being said, perhaps the new musical era from her pal has inspired her to deliver new material to loyal fans that eagerly await The Pinkprint‘s followup.
