The New York Knicks will trade guard Wayne Ellington, forward Jeremy Tyler and a 2016 second-round pick to the Sacramento Kings for forwards Quincy Acy and Travis Outlaw, people with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports.
Now Outlaw and Acy aren’t standout players, most of their careers have been spent on the bench. Outlaw is a solid scoring option off the bench, averaging 8.5 points per game on 42 % shooting in his nine year career with four different teams including the Portland Trailblazers, Los Angeles Clippers, the previously named New Jersey Nets and Sacramento Kings. Acy is a two year NBA veteran with two different teams already and has averaged 3 points and 3 rebounds per game as a member of the Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings.
