In what is one of my most anticipated films of 2012, ‘The Hunger Games,’ it appears the marketing is in full gear as we are treated to a brand new still from the film that is sure to have many book fans reeling. Take a look at the picture courtesy of Entertainment Weekly:
For those of you that haven’t read the books (you should, they’re amazing!), this is clearly before Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) are introduced at the opening ceremony of the games. In the book, their outfits are coal miner’s outfits (hence the black getup) engulfed in flames. It seems director Gary Ross is staying pretty true to the source material as their stylist Cinna (Lenny Kravitz) is just moments from setting them on fire. It’s sure to be a spectacle! As I’m sure you already know, ‘The Hunger Games’ stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Lenny Kravitz, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland, and more!
