The hype machine is firing on all cylinders. After surprising the world with a teaser for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie back in August, Netflix has been slowly revealing more about the film. Last week we got the first full trailer revealing a few familiar faces from Breaking Bad. Now, less than two weeks out from it’s October 11th release, Netflix dropped a teaser revealing yet another character who’s set to return.
Check it out below:
That’s right y’all, Larry Hankin’s Old Joe is coming back. If you’ve forgotten who that is, it’s ok because he only appeared a few times. BUT, he was massively important in helping Walt and Jesse cover their tracks when Hank was hot on their heels in season 3. And, he returned to help them find a huge magnet in season 5. In the teaser, Joe gets a call, likely from Jesse asking for another favor of the junkyard owner.
With Hankin’s return, we now know that he, Jonathan Banks, Matt Jones, and Charles Baker are all set to reprise their roles from the series. Creator Vince Gilligan has previously said that a total of ten characters will be returning from the series and, counting Aaron Paul’s Jesse, we’re up to 5. So, there’s still a decent chance we’ll get a Walter White cameo.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is set to drop on Netflix later this month on October 11th.
