The weather is getting cold. The snow is starting to pile up. It sucks to wake up in the morning and its a drag waiting for your car to heat up. Why not just stay inside and watch some Netflix? If I was convincing enough, here are some notes on what’s new next month to make sure you’re properly prepared to procrastinate. For all that’s new in November, see below:
Netflix Originals
Narcos (Season 4)
“Trappin like a Narco (Narco). Got dope like Pablo (Pablo).” – The Migos.
The 4th season of Narcos will take us to the wonderful land of Mexico to explore the creation of the Guadalajara cartel and the birth of the Mexcian drug war. This season should be more than interesting and hits Netflix on November 2nd.
House of Cards (Season 6)
Season 6 of House of Cards will most likely be its last and from the looks of its trailer… maybe even its best. Claire Underwood has taken the position of Potus from her husband Frank Underwood. Underwood was played by Kevin Spacey who, for obvious reasons, was taken out of the TV show after 5 seasons as its lead. Regardless, Claire’s political finesse and conviction will make for more than an interesting season. You can check out the final season on November 2nd.
Netflix Original Movie of The Month
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs will be the Coen brothers first attempts at a Netflix movie and boy is there a stellar cast for this film. The movie will star James Franco, Liam Neeson, Tim Blake Nelson, Harry Melling & Brendon Gleeson. The ‘Fargo’ and ‘Suburbicon’ directors will shift their focus to the Ballad of Buster Scruggs. A six-part Western anthology film, a series of tales about the American frontier told through the unique and incomparable voice of Joel and Ethan Coen. Each chapter tells a distinct story about the American West. The series will be on Netflix November 16th.
