March is a month of hope. Hope that your year is going as planned and the New Year resolutions you’ve made are on their way to being fulfilled. Hope that the weather is getting better and hope for new movies and TV from Netflix if the weather hasn’t gotten better.
Without further ado, here is what’s coming to Netflix in March 2019:
Netflix Original Series
After Life (Season 1)
Ricky Gervais always finds a way to bring comedy out of the most grim and dull things. Hopefully, he finds that as a compliment but regardless of how you take it, it’s true. Now, the British comedian and actor will embark on a new series surrounding death, specifically the death of his wife (in the series). For more information on what to expect, check out Gervais speak on the new show hitting Netflix on March 8th.
Turn Up Charlie (Season 1)
Idris Elba has been a badass throughout his career. The ‘Luther’ actor has always played the mean character with an attitude but now, he’s headed towards comedy. ‘Turn Up Charlie‘ will be about a bachelor who is failing his way through the DJ scene in the United Kingdom. Season 1 is supposed to release on March 15th.
Netflix Original Movies of The Month
Triple Frontier
Make no mistake, this is not a military operation. See Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal attempt to rob one of the world’s most violent cartels in Triple Frontier — on Netflix and in select theaters. Coming this March 15th.
The Highway Men
Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson are back and chasing after Bonnie & Clyde. The ‘Highway Men’ will embark on the story of 2 Ex-Texas Rangers in Frank Hamer and Maney Gault who are brought back to the Rangers as special investigators to lead a posse to track down the notorious couple. That hits the streaming service March 29th.
