With the summer heat in full effect, Netflix is sure to fuel the flame with the amount of fire it’s bringing to its schedule in July. With more Originals, Movies and a full list of classics coming to the streaming service, you’ll have an excuse to stay inside, where there’s air conditioning.
New Netflix Originals
Friends From College (Season 1)
If you’re a big Key & Peele fan, this will be a must watch for you in July. Friends From College is a comedy sitcom about 6 Harvard Graduates reuniting and dealing with their humorous mid-life crisis. The 8 episode 1st season will feature a plethora of funny actors like Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) and Nat Faxon (The Descendants) and with their track record for funny shows (Unbreakable: Kimmy Schmidt & Arrested Development), this could add onto that ever-growing list.
Castlevania (Season 1)
Netflix will be expanding its Anime arsenal this summer by introducing a tv series based on the popular ‘Castlevania’ video games. Although there’s been close to no speculation as to which game the TV show will be starting its story from but the trailer gives us a good indication of what we can expect from the latest Anime addition.
The Standups (Season 1)
Netflix has been on an absolute roll this year with its standup comedy specials. From Louis C.K and Dave Chappelle to Tracy Morgan, they had it all for stand up comedy lovers this year. Now, the light will be shined on some of the lesser known comedians in the industry with their new series The Standups. There will be 7 stand up specials in it’s 1st season including performances from Nate Bargatze, Deon Cole, Fortune Feimster, Nikki Glaser, Dan Soder and Beth Stelling.

To The Bone (2017)
A young woman (Lily Collins) dealing with Anorexia meets an unconventional doctor (Keanu Reeves) who challenges her to face her condition and embrace her life. The comedy/drama will tell the touching story while also addressing some of the issues that people with Anorexia face everyday.
