The Philadelphia 76ers have finally gotten rid of Sam Hinkie. I don’t care if it’s only been three years in his terrible rule, I told you he was a disease to this historic franchise and that 13 page letter said that he loved having the highest IQ in the room. It’s just a shame that having a high IQ doesn’t mean jack when it comes to being a great basketball mind.
Anyways, it’s not just Hinkie that has been bringing the team down. It’s the young guns, first it was Jahlil with the car and the fighting. Or so we thought. TMZ have uncovered a law suit that has Nerlens Noel getting sued for trashing a house he rented. And oh the list is great.
The 21-year-old Philadelphia 76ers star rented a 4,800 square foot home outside of Philly back in September 2014 — paying $54,000 for a 1 year lease. But he not only trashed the place and left weed throughout the home … he also allegedly threatened the owners after he moved out.
In their lawsuit, the owners of the home list all of the crazy damage they found including after Noel moved out in August 2015:
— “Splashed neon colored sports drinks (such as Gatorade) on the carpets throughout the home.”
— $30,000 in other damage to carpets
— Extreme water damage throughout the home
— Clogged toilets filled with cotton balls and feces
It doesn’t stop there. It gets quite funny believe it or not.
(In fact, the owners say the plumber who fixed the toilet told them the damage was so bad he told them, “Someone must not like you.”)
— Broken elevator (it’s a baller house)
— $4,000 in damage to the stove
— damage to the fridge
— damage to the blinds
— damage to dishwasher
— torn window screens
But then it takes a daunting turn.
The owners say they demanded $42,000 to repair the damage … but the DAY AFTER they sent the demand, a TOMBSTONE with the words “RIP” mysteriously appeared on the front steps of the property. The owners believe it was Noel’s doing and are considering it a death threat.
Now kids, if you have seen Project X, I am like you, I would love to do that. But. Nerlens Noel, thinking you’re big time, sending tombstones to the owners of the place you trashed, that is not right on any level. They want their money for the damages, you’re an NBA player, pay the money and pipe down. You’re not big by sending death threats.
