It appears that NBA Youngboy will be hitting the road in the near future. Shortly after the Louisiana native scored a major legal victory, he delivered a new album and his engineer, Jason “Cheese” Goldberg, hinted at a potential tour.
“Tour is a real thing, you know, and as soon as the restrictions get taken off, he’s hitting the road and I hear Chicago’s first on the list and. He’s got a great team; Alex is putting in the time to figure it out and it’s gonna be a lot of fun,” Goldberg told Aron A. of HotNewHipHop in August about a potential NBA Youngboy tour.
Weeks later, NBA Youngboy’s manager, Alex Junnier, confirmed Goldberg’s statement. While on Instagram Live, Junnier said that NBA Youngboy is preparing for a 30-city tour that will begin in Chicago, Illinois. Junnier did not identify a specific start date, but he did indicate that Quando Rondo would be a part of the tour.
“Yeah, the tour is ready. We’ve got 30 cities,” he told those watching him on Instagram Live.
“Dallas is on there. Houston is on there. They’re not first though. You guys know what stop is first.”
NBA Youngboy is undoubtedly one of the most popular artists in any genre today. Unfortunately, he has been unable to tour within the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and legal challenges. In fact, his last tour stop was in Los Angeles with Rich The Kid and Quando Rondo more than two years ago. It’s safe to say that his fans are more than excited to see him hit the road once more.
