NBA Playoff games are planned to resume on Friday or Saturday following the protests that resulted in Wednesday and Thursday’s games being called off. The protests that had caused the Playoff schedule to be disrupted began when the Milwaukee Bucks refused to play Game 5 in their opening-round series against the Orlando Magic in response to the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, WI.
The NBA issued the following press release, also confirming that Playoff games will not be held on Thursday:

Following Wednesday’s protests, a meeting of the players in the NBA bubble in Orlando was held. During the aforementioned meeting, the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the top two seeded teams in the Western Conference, were both reported to have voted to boycott the remainder of the season.
The Lakers and Clippers are now expected to continue into the Playoffs, and it has also been revealed that an emergency meeting of the NBA Board of Governors occurred Thursday morning.
Conversations have been ongoing throughout the morning among owners, league executives, coaches and players about how the league can restart these playoffs, sources tell ESPN. The players and Board of Governors have separate meetings set to start now.
