The Golden State Warriors completed one of the most remarkable seasons of all time on Monday. Perhaps the most talented team of all time, the Warriors lost only once in the postseason en route to winning the championship over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While their dominance was cause for concerns of predictability within the NBA, it still captivated millions of people, including the league’s own players.
Those players took to social media to react to and congratulate the Warriors on their victory.
Many players spoke about Kevin Durant who won his first championship and was awarded the Finals MVP:
Congratulations to the @warriors & @KDTrey5 The guy was a monster in these finals. #WhereLegendsAreMade
