Lebron James led the Heat to their 14th straight victory, tying a franchise record, with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.
New York held a double digit lead for most of the game, like their first two matchups, but this time the Heat came back. With a 8-2 run to end the third period, the Heat cut the deficit to four. James scored 12 points in the 4th quarter to put the Knicks away. Carmelo Anthony ended up with 32 points and 2 rebounds.
Oklahoma City Thunder 108, Los Angeles Clippers 104
the Clippers scored 7 points in one possession that gave them a one point lead after losing by 19. Reserve Matt Barnes made a three pointer, Blake Griffin made one of two free throws after Serge Ibaka’s was called for a flagrant for hitting Blake below the belt, then Jamal Crawford made a three pointer.
Russell Westbrook scored a clutch basket that gave the Thunder the lead and they ended the game on a 9-4 run. Kevin Durant scored 35 and Westbrook added 29.
Washington Wizards 90, 76ers 87
John Wall hit a jumper with four seconds left to give Washington a three point lead. Sixers Dorell Wright attempted a three from the corner as the buzzer sounded, but couldn’t hit it. Wall finished with Wall had 16 points, six assists and five rebounds. Bradley Beal left the game with two minutes because of a sprained ankle.
Memphis Grizzlies 108, Orlando Magic 82
Memphis led from the start, they had six players in double figures scoring, and lead by as many as 32 points. center Marc Gasol had 12 points, a career high 11 assists and five rebounds. Zach Randolph didn’t play due to a left ankle sprain.
Sacramento Kings 119, Charlotte Bobcats 83
John Salmons scored 19 of his 22 points in the 3rd period. And The Kings scored 43 points in 12 minutes. Jason Thompson had a double double with 18 points and 14 boards. The Bobcats have lost six in a row.
Houston Rockets 136, Dallas Mavericks 103
Houston scored 44 points in the third period (Starting on a 15-0 run), outscoring the Mavericks by 27. Chandler Parsons scored a career high 32 points, hitting his first 11 shots and 12 of 13 in total. O.J Mayo led the Mavs with 18 points,as Dirk Nowitzki struggled.
San Antonio Spurs 114, Detroit Pistons 75
The Spurs had 10 of their 35 assists in the 1st period as they got a 14 point lead early and never trailed. Tim Duncan scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Manu Ginobili had 17. Greg Monroe came close to a double double with 16 points and 8 rebounds for Detroit.
Indiana Pacers 97, Chicago Bulls 92
With Chicago trailing by six, Jimmy Butler made a three pointer to cut the Pacers lead with less than 20 seconds to go. The Bulls fouled George Hill, but he missed a pair of free throws, giving the Bulls one last chance to tie. Marco Belinelli’s shot didn’t go down & David West made some free throws to seal the deal. West had a big performance for Indiana with 31 points and seven boards
Los Angeles Lakers 99, Atlanta Hawks 98
Kobe Bryant’s layup over the Hawks Josh Smith with 9 seconds was the deciding factor for Los Angeles, who are still trying to get into the postseason.
Al Horford’s dunk gave Atlanta the lead with 25 seconds left. Bryant then made an unbelievable layup over two hawks, and Josh Smith had the chance to win it for Atlanta, but the ball slipped out of his hands for a bit ,he decided to pass it back out instead of attempting a shot, and it was stolen by the Lakers as time expired. Bryant had 31 points to lead the Lakers to their 2nd straight win.
