It has been quite the year for linebacker Mychal Kendricks. A year ago he was suited up for a Philadelphia Eagles squad on their way to an NFC East division title and then a Super Bowl victory in February. Although he did leave the defending champs in the Spring, he joined a team in the Cleveland Browns looking to add Kendricks to a squad that needed some legit veteran leadership as they made a push back towards relevance. But before he could even suit up for the Dawg Pound, Kendricks was released. He eventually joined the Seattle Seahawks.
An insider trading investigation saw Kendricks at the middle of a case that could see him go to jail for up to 25 years. Kendricks came out and openly stated he was aware of his mistake and would accept any and all punishment coming his way after pleading guilty to insider trading.
While the ruling from the courts is still up in the air, Kendricks was handed a punishment from his employer, the NFL. The league is suspending Kendricks indefinitely for his involvement in insider trading.
