Houston rapper Travis Scott took a break from setting world records and dropped a new visual for a song off his hit album ‘Birds in the Trap sing McKnight’. The track ‘Way Back’ was the latest track to get a visual treatment and Scott enlisted the help of a Houston star basketball player to be the subject of his video.
Houston Rockets NBA MVP candidate James Harden starred in the new video with Scott appearing in some background shots. Harden started off the video listening and watching some talking heads criticize him as images and videos from other sites noting his shortcomings. An image of a Kardashian pops up, so that’s a nice summary of the intro.
We go on to check out some footage of Harden playing some basketball and cut to him rapping Scott’s verse while hanging upside down as Travis Scott plays video games behind him. It all leads up to Travis Scott taking back the reigns of the video and finishing off the song following the beat switch.
While the video might be a little bit on the longer side, it is a good watch. Scott supported Harden and the Rockets during the NBA Playoffs and now ‘The Beard’ is returning the favor. Any fans of Travis Scott, James Harden or even Houston should peep the video below.
