Muni Long has set the release date for her latest body of work, Public Displays of Affection: The Album. On September 23, the accomplished, multi-talented act will deliver 18 soulful tracks, including “Baby Boo” featuring Saweetie. Not to mention, the album will feature her breakout, hit single, “Hrs and Hrs.”
“I’m so happy to finally be able to give you this full project. I’ve spent so many hours crafting this, putting my heart and soul into each and every track. I want to give you all more of what you love and deserve,” Muni Long said about her forthcoming project.
“These songs, these stories, and these experiences are fueled by love and affection; that of which I have for all of you. From my heart to yours.”
Muni Long may have become a household name through the virality of “Hrs and Hrs” in late 2021, but her talent has infiltrated playlists, radio stations and much more for years. Her songwriting credits range from Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E to Ariana Grande’s thank u, next and beyond. As a solo artist, her creativity has only continued to blossom. The emotive honesty and enthralling rhythms displayed in tracks like “Time Machine” and “Pain” leave listeners asking one question, “Why didn’t I hear about her sooner?” All things come in due time and she arrives alongside the likes of India Shawn, Ogi and many others who are bringing new energy to R&B.
On September 23, Muni Long will take things to new heights with the release of Public Displays of Affection: The Album. Check out the project’s tracklist below.
