After Mortal Kombat X was announced news came quick and heavy on the game from a release date to new characters and gamplay, we even received looks at Kano and Raiden during EVO 2014 — the talk of MKX quickly slowed. Now the talks are back on with this ‘new introduction’ to Quan Chi, thee most powerful sorcerer of the Netherrealm. In his introduction video we get a look at his three fighting variations: Warlock, Summoner and Sorcerer. Sorcerer variation gives Quan Chi’s attacks more damage and target specific spots on an enemies body while the Warlock variation lets Quan open up ‘dark interdimensional portals’ which lead to huge combos when executed right. Lastly, we have the Summoner which allows Quan Chi to pull beast from the Netherrelm. Enjoy the video above as you have 2 minutes of gameplay of Quan Chi.
