NetherRealms is bringing us a new character “introduction” series, “Konnections” and they’re starting off with Kitana. In this brief video we have Steve Brownback, Q&A Analyst for NetherRealm. Steve shares how he came to love Kitana and why she’s his favorite character before getting into her three variations: Royal Storm, Assassin and Mournful.
Royal Storm will be more of a defensive play style. Assassin will be for those players that like to play more on the offensive side and never let up on their opponent. Lastly, we have the Mournful variation. The Mournful variation is quite intriguing since Jade will not be returning in MKX, but! When using this variation Kitana will have Jade’s staff and boomerang.
Mortal Kombat X releases April 14th on all consoles. Be sure to pre-order MKX so you can have Goro as a playable character.
