When healthy, Morris Claiborne lived up to his first-round potential. Unfortunately, he has not been. The last two seasons combined, he played only 16 games (2015: 11; 2016: 7). Claiborne, 27, still has a lot of football left in him, however.
In seven games last season, Claiborne recorded five passes defended, one interception, one fumble recovery, and 24 tackles. Pro Football Focus rated Claiborne the 4th best cornerback available in free agency. Now, he needs to stay healthy to truly live up to expectations with the New York Jets.
