Nets billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov hasn’t been around his team a lot this season.
The last time Prokhorov showed face in Brooklyn was back in early November, when reports surfaced that he wanted to sell the team, which then turned into he only wanted to sell minority shares.
Well I guess the latest success and emergence of Brook Lopez has him intrigued, because Prokhorov is on his way to Brooklyn to catch the Nets game tonight against the Hawks and Friday’s game against the Wizards according to NetsDaily.
Prokhorov maybe getting nervous, as the Nets are fighting for their playoff lives. Prokhrov, who turns 50 next month and is a bachelor, told reporters when he first bought the team that if the team didn’t win a NBA Title in five years that he would get married. That deadline is up this year.
