Former Vice President Mike Pence has offered an update regarding his involvement in the 2024 presidential election. This week, the former Vice President told NBC News that he’ll know if he’ll run for office in 2024 “by the spring.”
“We’re listening, we’re reflecting, we’re talking to firms,” Pence told NBC News.
“By the spring, our family expects to have a very clear sense of our calling.”
Pence’s former running mate, Donald Trump, has already shared his intention to run for President in 2024. During a recent interview with MSNBC, Pence seemingly cut down Trump’s campaign by saying that the Republican Party will have “better choices” to pick from in 2024.
“I think we’re going to have better choices,” the former Vice President said.
Former President Donald Trump is the first major candidate to enter the upcoming race. More recently, Marianne Williamson announced her intent to run for President as a Democratic. Elsewhere, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and President Joe Biden are expected to announce their intent to run in the near future.
