Mike Krzyzewski will miss tonight’s Duke game against Wake Forest after coming down with a Non-Covid related illness. Jon Scheyer, the Duke coach-in-waiting will replace Coach K tonight as the head man while Coach K is at home recovering. Duke’s next game is Saturday, three days away which could give Coach K ample time to bounce back from whatever illness he’s suffering from. Scheyer will get his first taste as the head man in charge since being named as Mike Krzyzewski’s future replacement this summer starting next season.
Scheyer’s first game as acting head coach will also come on the road as the Blue Devils travel down the road to Wake Forest tonight against a Wake Forest team that is off to a very promising start. With the ACC down this year, Wake Forest on the road will be one of their toughest tests in conference play.
NEWS: Coach K will miss tonight’s game at Wake Forest due to a non-COVID related virus. Associate Head Coach Jon Scheyer will serve as acting head coach.

Mike Krzyzewski is likely to be back on the sidelines soon as he continues to make his way through his final season The Blue Devils will definitely be challenged without him, but as talented as they are should take care of business. Especially coming off a home loss, you have to figure they will be extra motivated not to turn one loss into two.
