Mike Conley Jr. of the Memphis Grizzlies is one of the league’s premiere point guards, and has remained criminally underrated throughout his eight-year career. Conley is the full package at the point guard spot; he’s a high-IQ player who can pass, shoot, and defend. His ability flies under the radar because he won’t drop your jaw like Westbrook or Curry. However, he is an elite point guard, and he’s a free agent this summer. Plenty of teams want Conley(the Knicks and Nets are just two). But will Conley even leave Memphis? The Grizzlies’ front office seems to expect him to stay. However, that isn’t set in stone. For Conley, it depends on what the rest of the roster looks like:
Conley also said that his decision did hinge in part on what the FO does in terms of signing free agents.

Conley: "It's no secret. Everybody's wondering if we can bring together the right guys in the offseason."

Conley: "They have enough money to go out and find somebody, but will we be able to attract this person or that person?"

Conley: "That's going to be one of the deciding factors, if I believe they're going to (sign guys) or if they do it right off the bat."

Conley, on waiting for signings:"I wouldn't want to delay, but if I can get any kind of assurances earlier rather than later, it would help"

Memphis would obviously love to retain Conley, but they may have to come up with some serious free agency success in order to do so.
