Not only does Monday signify the start of a new work week, it also kicks off many events in Austin, Texas, which are brought to you thanks to this year’s annual South by Southwest Music Festival. Bringing together music lovers and performers from all across the world, SXSW is one of the most anticipated music-related events each year. Finding himself apart of the lineup this year is none other than the soulful rockstar himself, Miguel. Releasing his most recent album, Wildheart, just last year, Miguel has been busy performing across the globe to bring the tunes to life, while most recently dropped his Rogue Waves EP. Delivering some entertaining live renditions of newer and older music, Miguel had something special in store for those in attendance as he covered Rihanna’s ANTI fan-favorite, ‘Kiss It Better.’ With a little help from the World Wide Web for lyrical assistance, the important part came out great as Miguel sounded right at home as his vocals floated with ease.

With the record being right up Miguel’s alley, we’ll take a wild guess and say that many fans of the singer and the record itself would love to hear an official studio version from his perspective. Until then, we’ll have relish in clips like the one above.
