“Michael Bloomberg is suspending his presidential campaign and endorsing Joe Biden after failing to persuade Democratic voters he was the best choice to defeat Trump,” the account tweeted.
Despite dropping out of the presidential race, he will still have a major presence in deciding the candidate that will challenge Donald Trump in November. With a massive net worth, his presence as an independent donor could sway an election. It is unclear at the moment if he will endorse one of the two front runners, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.
