If you think of the names Bryson Tiller and Michael B. Jordan, various things could possibly come to mind. With Michael B. Jordan having a majorly successful 2015 under his belt and going out on a high note after starring in the blockbuster “Creed,” it looks like he wants to put his hands in the pot of the music industry. Not taking a chance at singing and rapping, it appears Michael wants to test his luck and jump in the director’s seat for none other than Bryson Tiller. Serving as one of the music industry’s most in-demand acts at the moment, Bryson is seeing lots of success thanks to the release of his debut studio album, T R A P S O U L. Reaching out to Bryson and proclaiming that he’s a fan of Tiller’s music just like the rest of us, Mr. Jordan even went forth to express his interest in wanting to work with the singer.
Fans are excited about “Exchange.” It’s already charting and people think it’s going to be even bigger than “Don’t.” Do you plan shooting a video for it soon?
Well, Michael B. Jordan is actually cool. He’s like the homie. I’m actually talking to him. He reached out to me a while ago and just showing love for the music after TRaPSOUL dropped. He just said he wanted to work on some stuff with me so we’re actually gonna work together to do the video for “Exchange.” He’s gonna direct it. I don’t know when we’re shooting that, though. Hopefully, in the next few months.
Certainly sounding like a winning formula, this pairing needs to make this happen much sooner than later and strike while both of their irons are hot. With Michael B. Jordan landing roles left and right, and Bryson Tiller set to embark on his U.S. tour near the end of this month, fingers are crossed that the duo finds time to bring this to life.
