Megan Thee Stallion is never one to simply do something in an ordinary fashion. If she puts her time and effort into something, it’s going to fit her style in a unique way. Her Super Bowl ad debut is no different. According to Fast Company, the Houston native will not simply star in the company’s ad on Sunday. She will also debut a special track called “Flamin’ Hottie” and a limited-run music video. Fans will be able to watch the music video by holding up a Dorito to their camera while using the Snapchat app. As reported by Fast Company, the image of the chip should trigger the app to begin playing the video.
“Flamin’ Hottie” will also pay homage to those who have paved the way for the Grammy winner. The track reportedly samples Salt-N-Peppa’s “Push It.” During a recent interview, the recent college graduate spoke about the importance of the sample and the legendary duo.
“These artists have been breaking ground for years, and to have this hip hop-themed halftime show, it’s such a big deal. Me being there as a part of it, doing a remake of a Salt-N-Pepa song — the OG hot girls — I just feel like, yes, I am doing the right thing,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
“Yes, I am a hot girl coach. Look at me making my mark in hip-hop.”
