Meek Mill shares the newest video from CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Meek Mill dropped the official music video to the CHAMPIONSHIPS track “Trauma,” on Thursday night.
The rapper told fans the news on social media minutes before the release of the video.
The second track on the album, “Trauma” is a gritty record that tells the tale of Meek’s struggles from youth to adulthood. In addition to shedding light on his life, “Trauma” also highlights the many setbacks black men and women in America face, including, Colin Kaepernick’s controversial kneel.
In the powerful visual directed by Will Ngo, Meek can be seen rapping alongside a younger version of himself. Flashing scenes of the street life, the theme of the video, are displayed throughout, including gambling, drugs, and violence.
