
Meek Mill debuted the official trailer to his documentary series Free Meek on Sunday. Premiering on Amazon Prime on August 9, the Amazon original highlights the Philly rapper’s 2017 arrest for probation violations.
An advocate for criminal justice reform, the documentary delves deep into Meek’s probation case. The docu-series details “allegations of police corruption as Meek becomes the face of a powerful justice reform movement.” In reference to his ongoing probation case, which began when he was a teen, the rapper can be seen in the trailer stating, “I just thought it was real life for a Black kid in America.”
