Percy “Master P” Miller and Romeo Miller have partnered with Rouse Markets to open a grocery store for disabled seniors living at the Guste High Rise Apartments in Louisiana. The convenience store will assist elderly citizens living in what is described as a “food desert” in the area.
“I just want to thank Rouses for being here and understanding that this is so important that our seniors have what they need,” Master P told FOX.
“We don’t like to see people being taken advantage of. We immediately stepped in and partnered with P and his son and we’re here today to open up a grocery store on this property so residents can get groceries,” Rouse Markets CEO Donnie Rouse added.
This is not the first time that the Millers have worked to give back to the state of Louisiana. Miller has reportedly worked to improve the Guste High Rise Apartments for more than a decade.
