Everyone knew when the Oakland Raiders signed running back Marshawn Lynch, there would be some ups and downs that came with it. For every time the fans go nuts over him dancing on the sidelines or a new online show debut, there’s some sort of drama that also comes along with it. In a super important Thursday Night Football divisional matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, Marshawn Lynch was ejected from the game even though he wasn’t on the field at the start of the play in question.
Midway through the second quarter, the Raiders were driving down the field and elected a quarterback run on third and long. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr attempted to rush up the middle before he was stopped at the line of scrimmage. Chiefs defensive back Marcus Peters came in for a questionable late hit and it sparked a reaction from the Raiders offensive line. Marshawn Lynch chose to run off the sidelines and inject himself into the situation.
Here’s the incident where Lynch was ejected from the game.
As you can see, Lynch put his hands on a referee and that is an automatic ejection from the game. He will absolutely be fined and could also be suspended given that he ran off the bench to get involved in an incident.
Bengals rookie running back Joe Mixon shed some light on what Lynch was most likely doing on the field.
Y'all gotta understand that Marshawn and Marcus Peters are cousins he came to help both parties….

Some reports swirled and said Marshawn Lynch elected to leave the stadium after his ejection but in fact, he chose to stay at the stadium. But instead of sticking around in the locker room or with the Raiders personnel, he decided to join the fans in the stands.
FYI, Marshawn Lynch did not leave. He has been watching the whole game from the stands

After the game, Lynch decided to stick with his people and ride the Bay Area public transportation system known as BART and had a blast with fans.
Marshawn Lynch and Marcus Peters took the BART home. There is no place like the Bay. #Raiders #Chiefs
