Philadelphia 76ers’ guard Markelle Fultz will be absent from upcoming NBA games and team activities, as stated by his lawyer/agent Raymond Brothers. According to Hall of Fame journalist David Aldridge of The Athletic, Brothers advised Fultz to see a Shoulder Specialist. The decision rules out Fultz for upcoming games until early next week.
At the direction of his attorney, Raymond Brothers, @MarkelleF is scheduled to see a shoulder specialist early next week. Per Brothers, Fultz will not participate in team practices or games until after the the specialist has had a chance to evaluate him.

Shortly after this news came across, Fultz was spotted at 76ers practice doing work with the team, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Markelle Fultz participated in light shooting with the 76ers Tuesday even after his agent, Raymond Brothers, said he would not practice or play until he sees a shoulder specialist.
The second-year guard is scheduled to visit one on Monday at New York. So one would assume he is scheduled to miss at least three games. However, his agent’s message didn’t stop him from attending Tuesday’s informal workout.
Fultz has notably struggled with his shooting form since joining the Sixers as the first overall pick in the 2017 Draft. Recently, Fultz has seen his role with the team diminished following the Jimmy Butler trade being deferred from starting to the bench. More questions about Fultz’s role with the team have arisen after having his backup point guard minutes deferred to T. J. McConnell in Monday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns.
In his second NBA season, following appearing in only 14 games in 2017-18, Markelle Fultz is averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in 19 games played this season.
