Now under a month away from release, Madden devs put together a nice trailer for Ultimate Team, below you can read up on some of the new features for the mode. Also, when you pre-order Madden 15, you receive 30 Ultimate Team pro packs and a 2014 draft pack which features 10 first round draft picks.
By now, you’ve read about new Madden NFL 15 features like Player Sense 2.0, War in the Trenches 2.0, and the new playcalling … but what about Madden Ultimate Team (MUT)? Well, not much has changed… except for just about everything. We’ve got a lot to talk about, so let’s get going.
After you’ve chosen your favorite team and determined your Play Style, you’ll find the new Objectives screen. We’ve created a list of tasks to help you learn about the mode.
If you’re a new player, this is like a helpful friend. For veterans of MUT, it’s a way to tour some of the changes. When you complete five tasks on the Objectives list, you get a reward pack. So there’s reason for both beginners and veterans to go through the Objectives.
When you’re on the New Items screen, you’ll notice the new Single Item Viewer. From here, you can do just about anything with your new Item. You can also access this viewer from any item in your Item Binder. Moving your items around Madden Ultimate Team has never been easier.
Your next objective is to Change Your Team Lineup. The new lineup screen includes all the functionality of the old depth chart list in a new, concise format. Select a player to make a substitution, or just use Lineup Tools and Best Lineup to upgrade with the Items you’ve just received.
This year, you can choose Best Lineup by OVR or by Style Type. Don’t forget to go to Coaching & Equipment and put in the new coach you got in the Style Pack. His team style will match your choice too.
The new Item Binder includes every item in your Collection, so this is an easy way to manage your Roster, Pending Collection and Reserves. The new MUT binder makes it easy to select any item and do anything you want with it.
We have so much more to show you with Madden Ultimate Team, and we’ll be rolling it out in the next few weeks.
