Due to high demand and interest, the Lovers & Friends Festival has added a second date, May 8, to the festival run. Doja Cat, Akon, Donell Jones and Mya have been added to the May 8 lineup, swapping in for Megan Thee Stallion, Monica, Next and Ginuwine. Tickets for the new date are on sale now.

A press representative for Golden Voice confirmed the validity of their lineup stating “Our festival is 100% confirmed. Lineups are subject to change” in a provided statement.

Rapper Twista has rescinded his denial, leaving new comments confirming his attendance. Golden Voice has yet to release an official statement.

The Hip-Hop and R&B festival crafted from every millennial’s dreams may not come true after all. After images of the flyer went viral on Twitter, a handful of artists have spoken out via social media that although they are listed on the flyer, they have no intention of taking the Lovers And Friend’s Festival Stage. Lil Kim, Mase, and Twista have made comments on Instagram denying their involvement, captured in screenshots shared on social media below.
Still, Usher and Snoop Dogg have shared the flyer, seemingly confirming attendance. Joe Kay of Soulection affirms the lineup, tweeting “We do not condone fake/mock lineups”.
