Created by the aforementioned Sam Boyd, Love Life is an eye-opening project that takes on a new life each season as it follows a central character from a failed relationship through the ups and downs of love life until they find peace in a new setting. Along the way, characters switch up jobs, find new friends, move around and much more as they search for a happily ever after.
Season one of the HBO Max series followed Darby, played by Anna Kendrick, before shifting over Marcus, played by William Jenkins, in season two. Along the way, they are joined by an all-star cast that includes Jessica Williams, Zoë Chao, Keith David and Chris Powell among others.
“The cancellation of Love Life also helps me to redefine success. This show had excellent writing [and] great acting. It was honest and authentic. The cast was beautiful and diverse and it had a wild fanbase. HBO Max still said, ‘Nah!’ Like…what?” one viewer asked.
“I’m legit sad we won’t be able to experience more seasons of Love Life. What an incredible show. Hopefully, another streaming service picks it up,” another viewer tweeted.
Fans have until the end of the month to catch the first two seasons of the series once more. It will be removed from HBO Max at the conclusion of the month.
