Former Full House star Lori Loughlin has been sentenced two months in prison for her involvement in the highly publicized college bribery scandal.
“Your honor, I am truly and profoundly deeply sorry,” Loughlin said earlier today.
“I ignored my intuition and allowed myself to swayed from my moral compass,” the Full House actress added, fighting back tears,” she told U.S. District Judge Nathaniel Gorton.
Loughlin’s husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was also sentenced to five months in prison for her involvement.
“I deeply regret the harm my actions caused my daughters, my wife,” Giannulli told the court.
I accept the consequences,” he added.
It is highly unlikely that Loughlin will serve the full two month sentence. Loughlin will more than likely serve her sentence at a medium security facility in Victorville, California. Meanwhile, Loughlin’s spouse will likely be held at a medium security prison in Lompac, California.
