The D.M.V is experiencing a strong movement right now. Washington, D.C.’s Ari Lennox dropped her debut album on Dreamville in April. Virginia’s Marc McKinnis has earned his first featuring in Rolling Stone. George Washington University’s own, Cautious Clay, is performing at Governor’s Ball and Shy Glizzy just dropped a new album called Covered In Blood. Not to mention, Goldlink just dropped a new video and he has an album on the way. Alongside Goldlink, Cautious Clay and more, Logic is leading the way for the mid-Atlantic region with his latest project.
Logic’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind has moved 80,000 units during its first week and earned him the top spot on the Billboard 200 Chart. Close behind, Billie Eilish’s When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go and Khalid’s Free Spirit finished in the number two and three spots respectively. Also, Ariana Grande finished in the top five yet again with her album, Thank U, Next. Logic is planning to go on tour for his latest project. From October to November, the Maryland native will be doing shows everywhere from Vancouver to Miami. While you wait for the start of his tour this fall, check out his latest album, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
